Terms of Service

Last updated: March 14, 2026

1. Service Description

ARXIO Health provides clinical decision support APIs including drug utilization review (DUR), prescribe-assist, drug database queries, and NPI validation. These services are delivered via RESTful API endpoints accessible with a valid API key.

2. Important Medical Disclaimer

ARXIO Health is not a medical device and is not FDA-cleared or approved.

Our API provides clinical decision support — it does not replace professional medical judgment. All clinical recommendations generated by ARXIO Health must be reviewed and validated by a licensed healthcare professional before any patient care decisions are made. ARXIO Health shall not be held liable for clinical outcomes resulting from the use of our API outputs.

3. Account and API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. You must not share, publish, or embed API keys in client-side code. Compromised keys should be rotated immediately via the dashboard or by contacting support.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the API for any unlawful purpose or in violation of healthcare regulations
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our clinical decision algorithms
  • Exceed your plan's rate limits through circumvention (multiple accounts, key rotation abuse)
  • Use the API to build a competing clinical decision support product without prior written consent
  • Transmit malicious payloads, injection attacks, or excessively large request bodies
  • Resell or redistribute API access without authorization

5. Service Level

Free and Pro plans are provided on a best-effort basis. Enterprise plans include a 99.99% uptime SLA with defined remedies. See your Enterprise agreement for specific SLA terms, escalation procedures, and credit policies.

6. Billing and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months. Plan upgrades are prorated immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

7. Intellectual Property

The ARXIO Health API, clinical algorithms, drug database, and all associated documentation are the intellectual property of ARXIO Health. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API for your internal business purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARXIO Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or clinical outcomes, arising from your use of the API. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the API after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
